A Blog for midlife and multi-generational travels around our amazing world

We created Two Passports One Planet Blog to share what we've learned from decades of travelling—real itineraries, practical tips, and insights you only get by being there. If you love discovering new places, value authenticity, and enjoy a sprinkle of adventure, you're in the right place.

The Travellers Behind The Blog

Ruth and Judith at Lake Ohrid

Hi - We're Ruby and Jude, Scottish born sisters now based in the UK and the USA. We're midlife travellers who've been exploring the world since our teens, and aren't stopping any time soon. Over time, we've learned a great trip is less about ticking places off and more about finding itineraries in places that genuinely work for you in real life.

We each bring a different approach. Ruby is a whizz at planning itineraries to far flung places like Bandar Seri Begawan, snapping up good-value travel from her years working in the industry. Jude has lived in Germany, Arctic Alaska, Azerbaijan, London, West Africa, Florida and Colorado, and loves a nomadic edge to life.

Between us, we share real travel experiences — not theory or second-hand advice. If this sounds like your kind of travel, you're in the right place!
